Zoe Sorensen

Administrative Assistant & Automation Specialist

Zoe Sorensen is more than an Administrative Assistant and Automation Specialist–she’s a creative problem solver who helps keep both clients and internal systems moving forward. Since joining Alan R. Harrison Law in 2026, Zoe has supported the firm’s Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship practice areas while helping improve processes, build automations, and enhance the client experience.

Before joining the firm, Zoe spent more than five years working as a Data Analyst for a medical laboratory. Her background in technology, automation, and process improvement gives her a unique perspective on finding solutions and helping organizations operate more efficiently. While her professional experience is rooted in technology, her desire to help others is what ultimately drew her to the legal field.

Zoe’s strengths include process improvement, automation, project management, organization, problem solving, and client communication. She also has a special interest in guardianship matters and supporting families as they navigate difficult transitions with compassion and clarity.

She earned her Associate of Science degree from Salt Lake Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing through Southern New Hampshire University. One of the accomplishments Zoe is most proud of is her study of American Sign Language. After studying ASL for three years, she earned first-place awards in ASL competitions during high school and remains conversationally proficient and biliterate in both ASL and English. Her passion for accessibility and communication has also led to community involvement through providing American Sign Language interpretation for virtual performances and events, helping create more inclusive experiences for others.

Originally from Utah, Zoe grew up throughout the Salt Lake Valley and spent most of her teenage years in West Jordan before relocating to Idaho Falls in 2024. She lives with her husband and their three dogs, who ensure there is never a dull moment. Family has always been one of the most important influences in her life, which is one of the reasons she feels so connected to helping individuals and families plan for the future and protect what matters most. Outside of work, Zoe enjoys crocheting, writing, reading, gaming, and a variety of other creative pursuits. She also operates a small crochet business and loves creating things that bring joy to others. If she isn't working on a project, she is usually learning something new.

Zoe joined Alan R. Harrison Law because she wanted to do work that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives. Through her own experiences, she has seen the impact that proper planning and legal protections can have on individuals and families. Being able to help people prepare for the future and protect the people they care about is incredibly rewarding. She also enjoys using her background in technology and automation to improve how the firm serves its clients. For Zoe, combining meaningful client work with innovative problem solving makes Alan R. Harrison Law the perfect place to continue growing both professionally and personally.
