minor, developmental disability or incapacity
Probate
We offer:
free 15 minute consultations (in-office, over the phone, and via zoom)

60 minute consultations are $250, due at the time of the meeting. If Alan R. Harrison Law is reteined to complete the matter, this price is credited to the desired services.
While we generally do not take any cases that are contested or headed for litigation, we DO handle litigation for Guardianship and Conservatorship, and for Probate as needed.
Existing Clients with Current Matters
Attempt to contact us at our direct line (except as noted below). If we are available, do a transfer.
If not available:
Take a message and forward it to us; or
Transfer them to our direct line to leave a message on our voice mail.
Existing Clients with Past Matters
If this is a brand new issue, then the preference is to fill out the intake form with the information for the new issue.
If they want to speak with the person who they have a relationship with, then follow the same protocol for clients with current matters.
Note: If they choose to speak directly with staff, please advise them that if they have a new matter to discuss it may be quicker to schedule a meeting with us so we can give them the time they need.
New Caller Needs Other Services
We sometimes handle business filings, adoptions, and real estate law. For these types of situations schedule a 15 minute General Consultation. If the caller is unsure, take a message and a staff member will reach out to the caller.
We Do NOT handle criminal law, family law, bankrupcy, personal injury, or civil litigation.
If the caller appears calm and open to guidance from a qualified attorney, then we refer to Murray, Zeil, and Johnston – (208) 528-4188 for criminal or family law.
If the caller is not calm and open to guidance from a qualified attorney, then do not give a referral.
We do not currently have referrals for any other type of law.
Returning a Call
If the caller is returning a call from our office, please:
during office hours – transfer to the person who left the message
after office hours – transfer to voice mail or take a message as appropriate
If the person does not know who left the message, look at the staff directory to determine who to transfer the call to.

If the caller wants to reschedule an appointment:

Send us a message to let us know to cancel the other appointment.
If the person wants to cancel, please send us a message and let us know. If possible, please identify the reason why.
Please Note: If they had a General Consultation Scheduled they will need to leave a message for the person they were meeting with to reschedule.
